I always looking for talented PhD students. Successful candidates will work on:

  • Developing, testing, and integrating new multifunctional structures for remote sensing applications.
  • Investigating and developing methods for large-scale coupled structural-EM simulations.
  • Investigating aircraft integration effects on phased arrays.11Applicants should hold a B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in aerospace structures and some interest in electromagnetics and antennas. Experience in design of aerospace structures a plus.  In addition to the above engineering skills and interests, applicants should also be highly motivated, self-driven students who have demonstrated a strong academic track record.Position are typically 50% appointment year round, with the potential for up to 100% appointment during the summer. Positions include tuition support as well as a stipend. Some domestic and international travel will likely be required over the course of the degree program.
